The long-running drama Charmed is getting a 2018 reboot, with the first episode set to premiere in the autumn.
The show comes with a whole new cast of characters, and actors, however it is based on the original series with many of the characters based on those who featured in the original.
The original series, which ran from 1998 to 2006, followed three sisters, Prue, Phoebe and Piper Halliwell played by Shannen Doherty, Alyssa Milano and Holly Marie Combs, along with their half sister Paige Matthews, played by Rose McGowan, who all had supernatural powers.
Prue died at the end of the third series, leaving the Power of Three vulnerable, but this gap was quickly filled by Paige when she joined them later.

The synopsis for the new series is based heavily on the previous series, reading: "After the tragic death of their mother, three sisters in a college town are stunned to discover they are witches.
"Soon this powerful threesome must stand together to fight the everyday and supernatural battles that all modern witches must face: from vanquishing powerful demons to toppling the patriarchy."
The new series, based on the same three sisters, will star Madeleine Mantock, Melonie Diaz and Sarah Jeffrey playing Macy, Mel and Madison Pruitt.
English actress Madeleine has performed in Into the Badlands and Casualty, but according to The CW, the network behind the reboot, has called Macy a "practical, driven and brilliant geneticist" who has telekinetic powers.
This is similar to Prue, who sadly died at the end of the third series.
Madeleine told Collider at ComicCon: "I think we have some similar mythology; the Power of Three and our powers will kind ion evolve and develop as we become stronger witches which I think is similar to the original."

Melonie, who starred in Fruitvale Station, will play Mel, the middle sister and "lesbian activist" who can freeze time, like Piper.
Melonie told Collider: "It’s a different time, there’s social media, there’s #MeToo, there’s so much happening and I think for women right now it’s a strange time.”
"I think our show is really going to reflect that."
Finally Sarah, who has starred in The Descendants, will play a "bubbly college freshman" and have psychic abilities, similarly to Phoebe.
All three actors have described how this new series will be updated in the themes it handles, such as social and women’s issues.
Also appearing in the new version are Ellen Tamaki, as Mel’s girlfriend Nico, Rupert Evans as the sisters’ Whitelighter and Ser’Darius Blain as Macy’s boyfriend Galvin.
The new Charmed series starts on The CW on October 21.
