The clash between Allu Arjun’s Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo and Mahesh Babu’s Sarileru Neekevvaru is known to everyone. While both the films have earlier fixed Jan 12th as the release date, Mahesh has decided to come a day ahead on 11th later. But now, with Geetha Arts trying to set Jan 10th date for Bunny, it looks like Mahesh is in a bit of trouble.
The film that comes first will surely have its advantage during holidays is what many distributors and trade pundits believe. And if Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo gets positive talk and Sarileru Neekevvaru gets average talk, then the prospects of Mahesh’s film will come down to a bit. Sensing this, many are saying that Mahesh might either pick 10th or will prepone the date to 9th now.
Just in case if Mahesh postpones again, surely the clash of egos between these big heroes will be visible quite openly. No matter what, a gap of 1 week will do go for both the film but with both of them needing the Sankranthi holidays, they can’t do that. Then it is better to come on the same day if one eats into other’s revenues, say, trade experts.
