This Morning viewers were left feeling very confused today when Eamonn Holmes and Ruth Langsford changed appearance mid-show.
The presenters looked slightly different for their chat with popular actress Sheridan Smith.
Sheridan was speaking about her new series Cleaning Up, but viewers couldn’t help being distracted by the presenters’ clothes.
Ruth switched from a white shirt to a black and white patterned top, while Eamonn’s black jacket turned to blue.
There was a good reason for the drastic changes, as it was revealed that the interview was pre-recorded before Christmas.
This Morning viewer were not happy that the interview was not shown live and took to Twitter to voice their concerns.
One angry viewer said: "Why have Eamonn and Ruth changed to interview @Sheridansmith1 ???? could they NOT interview her LIVE??"
"Why was it not live @thismorning," added another.
A third said: "Hate it when they prerecord stuff and tout it as live"
Sheridan was on the show to talk about returning to screens on ITV’s Cleaning Up in her ‘darkest role ever’.
The BAFTA winning actress is playing a recovering gambling addict turned office cleaner who finds herself in the midst of a stock market scandal – accessing illegal funds to get her life back on track.
She said: "It’s a brilliant idea. It’s never been done.
"I play Sam, who’s a single mum to two beautiful girls. She’s trying to get herself out of debt. Working a zero hours contract cleaning these big offices.
"She hears about this insider trading going on. Being a savvy character she thinks there’s a buck to be made here.
"It was really fun. There’s lots of action sequences to do in my cleaning tabard."
She also discussed touring the country with her new album and life in the country with her fiancé Jamie.
Sheridan said: "I’m in a really good place. I can’t believe it, someone’s going to have me.
"I’m feeling really happy. I have four donkeys, seven dogs. I’m really happy at the moment."
