I’m A Celebrity presenter Dec Donnelly may be without his usual co-host but that hasn’t stopped his top quality banter.
The cheeky Geordie mercilessly mocked the Doctor Who star during Sunday night’s opening episode – and viewers reckon he’s already produced this year’s catchphrase.
After settling into the studio with This Morning host Holly Willoughby, who has replaced Ant McPartlin for the 2018 series, attention swiftly turned to the celebrities.
Introducing the first famous face, Holly said: "His name is John Barrowman ans he’s on a speedboat.
Giggling Dec, who couldn’t resist having a laugh, replied: "A speedboat? Fab-u-lous!"
Later on, Dec poked fun at John again by taking the mick out of his red face.
Despite only being in Australia for a few minutes, John had got quite burnt, something that Dec noticed straight away.
He said: "Red John is absolutely beetroot, he’s frying in there, I hope his luxury item is suncream."
The celebs then had to head off to their next destination on a helicopter.
"Time for John to face toughest challenge of his life," said Holly.
Naughty Dec replied: "Not making a joke about a big Australian chopper – fab-u-lous!"
Viewers reckon this will be as popular as last year’s ongoing joke about Dennis Wise being a "very small man".
I’m A Celebrity viewers were left in hysterics and took to Twitter after the hilarious moment.
One viewer said: "‘Fab-u-lous’ is going to become this year’s ‘he’s a very small man’ and I am SO ready for it"
Another added: "Love dec already me thinks John barrowman will be the new Dennis wise of jokes this year"
A third said: "Fabulous is definitely going to be the catchphrase of the series…. but nothing is going to beat celebrity masterchef"
I’m A Celebrity Get Me Out of Here! starts on Sunday 18 November at 9pm on ITV
