EastEnders fans couldn’t believe their ears this evening when they heard the extortionate price Walford’s local chicken takeaway are selling their black coffees for.
This evening, wannabe bad boy Dennis Rickman popped into McKlunky’s and decided to buy a caffeine drink.
He was then asked to hand over £4 for a black coffee. Bear it in mind that a large black Americano in Starbucks is £2.45, while a Pret filter costs 99p.
Of course, viewers couldn’t believe the daylight robbery taking place.
One tweeted: "£4 for a black coffee? In McClunkys?? You having a laugh?! #Eastenders."
While another commented: "£4.00 for a black coffee in McKlunky’s – that’s outrageous!!! #EastEnders @bbceastenders."
A third wrote: "£4 for a black coffee in a dodgy kebab shop? #Eastenders."
"4 quid for a coffee, daylight robbery that Eastenders," another pointed out.
