Coronation Street’s Carla Connor could DIE after skipping crucial medication.
The Underworld boss has a mental breakdown after being blamed for Rana Habeeb's tragic death in the factory roof collapse.
Her manic episode could have horrifying consequences as she stops taking her life-saving kidney episode.
Carla had a kidney transplant last year when half-brother Aidan Connor donated one of his organs.
With her life spiralling downward, Carla confesses to best friend Roy Cropper that she has stopped taking her pills.
The insider told The Sun : "Roy is going to try and come to her rescue but he will be stunned when she has a manic episode and reveals she has stopped taking her medication.
"After her kidney transplant from Aidan, they were the things keeping her healthy and not taking them could cause her kidneys to shut down, or she could even die.
"He's going to be terrified she could end up needing another transplant if she doesn't get back on her medication."
Carla will suffer a meltdown in a new long-running storyline over the next few weeks.
Everyone blames Carla for Rana's death, including her pal Roy and half-sister Kate, while furious Imran vows revenge.
Next week things take a horrifying turn when Carla begins receiving messages from “Rana” online.
She fears she is being watched by the webcam on her laptop and that her tea has been posioned.
As her paranoia swirls out of control, troubled Carla leaves the house barefoot.
When Peter goes to look for her he finds her staring at the remains of the factory and realises she is seriously ill.
He takes her to the medical centre, but fearing it is a trap, Carla escapes and goes missing.
Will she get the help she needs?
