Coronation Street viewers will see worrying scenes for Mary Taylor next week, after she’s left injured in a horror accident.
The soap favourite is forced to head to the medical centre after sustaining a painful injury, thanks to builder Jan.
In soaps to air next week Mary is out in the Street, with the florist loading up her work van.
Suddenly she’s left horrified when she’s crashed into, leaving her in a lot of pain.
Jan is cycling on the Cobbles, and as he turns the corner he has no time to stop as he crashes straight into Mary.
He and Moira help Mary to the medical centre after she reveals she’s hurt her wrist, panicked about what’s just unfolded.
Mary later heads to The Rovers, with her injured wrist strapped up in bandages and a sling.
A mortified Jan tries to apologise to Mary, offering her a drink as a means of saying sorry.
But Mary’s not having it, not happy to accept it after her injury.
Meanwhile, the scenes cause trouble for Jan’s love interest Eileen, when she’s left feeling very jealous.
While Mary doesn’t want to know, Moira begins chatting him up, keen to start a romance with the builder.
Eileen watches on, and it’s evident she’s suffering from a case of the green-eyed monster.
Coronation Street airs Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays at 7:30pm and 8:30pm on ITV.
