‘Big Brother’ Blowout: The House Explodes As the First Player Is Sent To Jury

Haleigh’s plan backfired bigtime as Bayleigh was sent packing on “Big Brother.”

Bayleigh wasn’t the hacker, and yet there she sat on the block after a scathing speech from Angela, who had pinpointed her as such. Thus ended the veto meeting. The hacker was actually Haleigh.

Right after this happened, Tyler and Bayleigh had words over the results of the veto meeting in the kitchen, where Tyler got pissed at Bay for being the hacker. But again, it wasn’t her. It was Haleigh.

And NOBODY expects it. Haleigh even started off the episode swearing to herself that she would take it with her to the grave. Well, at least keep it to herself until she was out of the house. Smart, especially after the chaos it has caused.

As a side note, Brett got his Hawaii vacation stolen by Tyler during the veto competition, so instead he had to endure a punishment — his "granny" came to spend 24 hours with him, and it was the same actor who hollered at Rachel for 24 hours. That actor is getting a lot of screen time, and it’s amazing.

Back to the game though. Bayleigh was confiding in Haleigh and talking a lot about the hacker and how much she’s suffering because of it, and Haleigh had to just sit and take it because nobody knows its her. It had her in TEARS in the diary room! Oh man, it’s brutal, but she’s right to stay quiet about it. Though — we started to think: will Julie just tell Bayleigh who the hacker was if Bay gets voted out? And Bayleigh will be the first person in jury if that happens… so maybe Haleigh SHOULD tell her.

And then she DID! She told Bayleigh everything, about wanting to take a shot at Tyler, and how she would never have done it if she knew what was about to happen. They cried together, and comforted each other… and Haleigh decided she needed to tell everyone to clear Bay’s name.

Then she called a house meeting and shit got REAL. Haleigh told everyone, and said everyone owed Bay an apology.

Tyler then got into a huge blowout with Bayleigh — about things that they said surrounding Angela (Tyler was right, and Bay was wrong, no matter how angry Bayleigh was), and Tyler simply refused to apologize to her. Bay got so mad over it, and was screaming so loud, that she literally started bleeding from the mouth. She was angrier than we’ve ever seen someone in the house — we mean, when was the last time you saw someone yell so loud they started bleeding from the mouth? When?

She must have bitten her tongue or something — but NOBODY brought it up or talked about it afterwards! How?! How is that possible that nobody filled us in?!

Bayleigh was sent home regardless of the hacker mixup, and we can’t blame people for making the decision. She was a strong, smart player — but also volatile and power trippy. The blow up didn’t help either, so it makes total sense.

During the exit interview, Julie straight up told Bayleigh that Swaggy met her parents, and that they HATED HIM. It was such a brutal joke that our jaw dropped that Julie would go for it. We love Julie, and now we love her even more. Bold & hilarious.

Bay has joined the jury.

We’re going to run this season like you’d run a department store. Each product, or Houseguest, may have come in with equal value, but pretty quickly you start to see that certain ones aren’t working. First, you try discounting them to see if they can turn things around and become solid performers again. But if that doesn’t work, it’s time to put them on clearance so you can sell them out (the door). With that said, let’s take a look at our inventory, ranked from our strongest performer to our weakest … after we spotlight a item in stock.

It might be a little weird to be making the spotlight item the fact that someone got so mad they started bleeding from the mouth — not foaming, bleeding — but that’s what happened. Bayleigh yelled and screamed at Tyler so hard after Haleigh’s house meeting that she either bit her tongue or cheek or something, because there was a quite a bit of blood.

We just wish someone would have given us an explanation as to how that happens. Maybe she was consumed with so much rage that she accidentally summoned a demon from where her wisdom teeth once were.

At this point your guess is as good as ours. But we’ll be damned if it wasn’t delicious drama of the highest quality.

Haleigh was not only the hacker last week, but she won HOH this week. She is proving to be better at competitions, smart at strategy, and is one of the only people to see Tyler’s impressive gameplay.

Tyler, despite having a huge blowout with Bayleigh, wasn’t wrong. And we feel like people like him enough that he can get past this — but now he’s definitely a target, and with Haleigh as HOH, he might be in trouble. Trouble that can probably be solved by his team, and his power app.

Scottie didn’t really do anything in this episode, so we can only assume he’s cool with everyone. He’s still a secret competition beast for being such a dork in every other area.

Angela was outed as being wrong in her attack on Bayleigh, but can anyone really blame her for making the move with the information she had? We suppose the speech was pretty dramatic and that could work against her, but we feel like she can still win competitions to save her own skin.

Brett isn’t really winning competitions, but he’s also not exactly the biggest target in the house at the moment — even though he’s still absolutely a big one. He did make a mistake in taunting Bay in her goodbye message, because she’s now a jury vote. It’s his wildcard nature keeping him so high on this list.

Sam was the first out of her seat to go check on Bayleigh after she started bleeding from her mouth, which was nice.

JC did pretty well in the HOH competition tonight, though he didn’t pull out the win yet again. He’s got his social game to keep him safe, though.

Kaycee is still in her peanut outfit and didn’t make any waves.

Faysal didn’t really have any screen time tonight, so he’s not a huge problem for anyone, and he’s also not winning things. But his physical stature automatically puts a target on his back, so he needs to do more to survive.

Bayleigh is gone, and she STILL has more clout than Rockstar, who is yet again at the bottom of this list. Bay bled from the mouth, yelled so hard that it literally hurt her, and yet she still made it far enough to make it to jury.

Rockstar doesn’t do anything, and will not win this game.

Why is it that in these past two episodes, the only things worth mentioning are super long and tough to transcribe? On Wednesday it was Angela’s speech. Tonight it was Bayleigh’s meltdown. It would be easier just to watch clips.

Maybe we should include Tyler’s refusal to apologize? That doesn’t seem that interesting to include as a quote, it would literally just be: "I’m not apologizing to you, Bayleigh." – Tyler

So we don’t think it’s worth it. Maybe people will say more clever, shocking, or hilarious things on Sunday!

"Big Brother" airs Wednesdays at 8 p.m. ET, Thursdays at 9 p.m. ET and Sundays at 8 p.m. ET on CBS.
