South beauty Jyothika, who was last seen in her latest release Thambi, alongside Karthi (also her brother-in-law), has been a success at the box office. Directed by Jeethu Joseph, the film also received accolades for the casting choices. In one of the recent interviews, Jyothika spoke about her experience acting with Karthi.
By comparing her experience between Suriya and Kathi, Jyothika said that “Acting with Suriya is difficult as we often fight with each other just like most of the couple. But working and sharing screen space with Karthi was smooth”. The story revolves around siblings who get separated and reunite only after many years of the brother evolving into a criminal. For this, both Karthi and Jyothika were highly lauded.
The actress further added that her brother Suraj who worked as a producer for Thambi, made them spend time together after many years. “Though there are many characters in the film, my role has the scope to perform. To be honest, I haven’t spent quality time with my real-life brother as my acting career started when I was 17. Only on the sets of ‘Thambi’, I spent time with my brother Suraj who is also the producer of the film,” she adds
With her sterling performances all these years ever since her debut in 1999, Jyothika kept inspiring and entertaining us even after two decades. Her second innings and the back to back three movies in 2019 made her fans happy over her work.
Jyothika once again proved that she is the leading star in south Indian actresses with her brilliant performnce in 2019’s Raatchasi and she won the Behindwoods Gold Medal Award for Best Actor in Lead Role(Female). Along with that, Jyothika also acted in Jackpot and Thambi in 2019.
