Several celebrities from other South industries also sent congratulatory messages to Vijayendra since the announcement. Now according to the latest report, KV Vijayendra Prasad landed in a controversy for his statements against Mahatma Gandhi in an old interview, sparking a debate. Vijayendra Prasad’s comments about how Prime Minister Nehru was selected are going viral.
In the video, Vijayendra Prasad is seen saying that it was because of Gandhi that Sardar Vallabhai Patel did not become the Prime Minister of India. Gandhi wanted Jawahar Lal Nehru to be the Prime minister whereas many leaders from the Congress party voting for Sardar Vallabhai Patel. Vijayendra Prasad is also saying that if Patel had been the Prime Minister of Independent India, the fate of Jammu and Kashmir would have been different now.
