Amid speculations about Elon Musk tenure as company’s CEO coming to an end, Twitter has officially announced Blue for Business, a new way for businesses and their affiliates to verify and distinguish themselves on the micro-blogging platform. The company first introduced the gold check mark few days ago.
Twitter said: On Tuesday, the Twitter announced its new ‘Blue for Business’ service,. As a Twitter Blue for Business subscriber, the company can link any number of their associated individuals, businesses and brands to their account.
The company said: This is an incredible moment for the businesses to further incorporate their affiliated individuals, businesses and brands into DNA of Twitter. In the future, we plan to layer more value into offering to help businesses and their affiliates get the most from Twitter.
Twitter Business tweeted: Today, we are rolling out Twitter Blue for Business, a new program that lets businesses distinguish their brands and key employees on Twitter. These accounts will show the square company badge next to their display names.
This connection will help businesses to create networks within their own organizations on micro-blogging platform.
Twitter Blue for the Business is Twitter’s version of the enterprise level of Twitter Blue. The company wants to reduce its dependency on the advertisements and find other sources of the revenue.
