The NCC Air Wing Combined Annual Training Camp 2018 was held at NGM College, Pollachi from August 22 to 31, 2018. Around 446 cadets from 16 schools and 7 colleges participated in the camp and various competitions were conducted. 17 cadets from SSVM Institution, Mettupalayam showcased their talents with perfection and brought many laurels to the institution. They secured prizes in Cross Country, Drill, Volley Ball, Solo Dance and Group Dance. S. Subhika, a student of the school, won the Best Cadet Award.
