Salem Railway Division to rent spaces for product promotion

As part of its efforts to improve earnings, the Salem Railway Division would offer spaces at its stations for product promotion campaigns.

Business firms can display their products and set up kiosks at railway stations. There are 94 railway stations under the Salem Division and interested firms can approach respective station managers for the purpose.

E. Harikrishnan, Senior Divisional Commercial manager, Salem Division said “Spaces would be earmarked by commercial inspectors in each station and interested persons can easily approach our station managers for the purpose. There is no cumbersome process involved. In each station, spaces have been selected based on where it would attract attention of passengers. The rent would vary based on earnings of the station.”
