The new Pan India star Mega Power Star Ram Charan is making waves across the globe. The actor, who delivered a power-packed performance as Alluri Sitarama Raju earlier this year, has become the face of ‘RRR’ internationally.
The massy and talented actor is being prominently featured in appreciation posts and international coverage of RRR. His looks and iconic action stunts have become a byword for ‘RRR’, which is currently in Oscars race.
Earlier during an interview, SS Rajamouli had said: Ram Charan got more screen time than his co-star Jr NTR in the action drama RRR. It comes after Ram Charan refuted such reports saying that he believes both he and Tarak have excelled beautifully in the film.
It is known that Rajamouli’ magnum opus RRR has made history by scoring a nomination in the Best Original Song category at the upcoming Oscars, for MM Keeravani’s Naatu Naatu that features Jr NTR and Ram Charan. This culminates months of build-up, during which director Baahubali and RRR fame Rajamouli made many in-person and virtual appearances promoting the film in the US.
“What is Naatu?” The Tollywood dance number, crooned by Rahul Sipligunj and Kaala Bhairava, makes history as the first song from an Indian film to be nominated for Best Original Song, with music by composer MM Keeravaani and lyrics penned by Chandrabose. It marks the first Oscar nomination for both.
