SS Rajamouli’ magnum opus RRR is slated to hit the theaters on 25th March 2022. It would have hit the silver screens on the 7th of January but in view of the Coronavirus outbreak, the film’s release was postponed indefinitely. But as the makers have confirmed the release date, they are coming up with the promotional event. If ongoing buzz in the media and film industry are to be believed, Rajamouli along with his team is planning to invite Hollywood action star Tom Cruise as the Chief Guest for the pre release event of RRR which is going to be held in Dubai.
Inviting Hollywood celebrities for Indian events is not new. It was Arnold Schwarzenegger who was the main guest for the audio launch of Shankar and Vikram starrer I and Jackie Chan graced the audio launch of Dasavatharam in the year 2008. Now we have to wait and see whether ‘Mission Impossible’ hero Tom Cruise really arrives for the RRR event in Dubai or not.
RRR, which is bankrolled by DVV Danayya, has Young Tiger Jr NTR, Ram Charan, Alia Bhatt, Olivia Morris, Shriya Saran, Rajeev Kanakala, Samuthirakani and others doing key roles. The movie has the music by Keeravani of Baahubali fame.
