If ongoing buzz in the media and the film industry are to be believed, Telugu superstar Mahesh Babu will be seen playing the role of lord Rama in Madhu Mantena’s Ramayana 3D and will share the screen space with Bollywood actress Deepika Padukone.
Madhu Mantena’ Ramayana 3D is a big budget project which will be made on the lavish budget of Rs 300 Cr. Earlier there was a strong buzz in the film industry that Greek God of Bollywood Hrithik Roshan will play the lead role but now it has been confirmed that Hrithik wouldn’t be playing the role of Ram but the role of the Ravana. The reports are coming that the producer is looking to bring in Mahesh Babu to play the character of Lord Rama in this Bollywood movie.
The sources claim that Mahesh Babu liked the script but is yet to give his nod to the project. Dangal fame director Nitesh Tiwari will helm the big project.
Meanwhile Mahesh Babu is currently working with Parasuram for a film Sarkaru Vaari Paata in which he will make his screen presence in the role of money lender and will share the screen space with Keerthy Suresh of Rang De and Penguin fame.
