Mahesh Babu rejects Ramayana 3D?

Recently it was heard that Mahesh Babu has been offered the role of Lord Ram in the pan-India movie Ramayana 3D, an adaptation of the epic of the same name, which would backed by Madhu Mantena. It was also heard that Greek God of Bollywood, Hrithik Roshan would play the main antagonist.  Now the reports are coming that Telugu superstar Mahesh Babu has rejected Ramayana 3D.

Mahesh Babu has turned down the offer of Hrithik Roshan’ big budget upcoming film ‘Ramayana 3D’. A source close to the makers revealed, “Madhu Mantena and Nitish Tiwari are planning to start shooting for Ramayana 3D from the middle of 2022 next year. But Mahesh Babu’  dates during this period are already due to SS Rajamouli. So it is clear that Mahesh Babu has preferred to do Rajamouli’  project over Ramayana 3D. Hrithik will play the role of Ravana in Madhu Mantena’s film.

Deepika Padukone will be seen in the role of goddess Sita. Now as Mahesh Babu has rejected the project, the makers are looking for another actor to play Lord Ram.

On the otherside, Mahesh Babu is currently working with Parasuram for a film Sarkaru Vaari Paata, in which  he is sharing the screen space with Keerthy Suresh.
