Mahesh Babu brings Taj Mahal Palace hotel in Hyderabad

It is known news that Telugu superstar Mahesh Babu is busy in his upcoming production venture Major in which Adivi Sesh is playing the lead role.  Recently during the media interaction, production designer of Major, Avinash Kolla talked about his film  and revealed that his team has erected six sets for the film at a private studio in Hyderabad and along with NSG Commandos base, the Taj Mahal Palace hotel set was also erected.

The production designer Avinash Kolla added that as the permission was denied to shoot inside the hotel Taj Mahal Palace  situated next to the Gateway of India, a replica set was built in  just ten days with 500 workers  in Hyderabad. A 120 ft tall building representing 5 floors of the Taj Mahal Palace  hotel was constructed using fibre, wood and iron.

Adivi Sesh starrer Major is directed by Sashi Kiran Tikka and jointly backed  by Sony Pictures, G. Mahesh Babu Entertainment and A+S Movies.   The upcoming film Major also has Saiee Manjrekar, Sobhita Dhulipala, Prakash Raj and Revathi in the supporting  roles.

The production designer Avinash Kolla has previously worked for the national award film ‘Mahanati’ starring Keerthy Suresh, Gemini Ganesan, Vijay Deverakonda and Samantha Akkineni, which was directed by Nag Ashwin.
