Gujarat Elections Results 2022 update

As per the initial trends, Bharitya Janata Party- BJP has maintained a healthy lead in the Gujarat Assembly polls. Congress appears to be distant second. BJP is on its way to create history by winning for the 7th time in a row in Kanchukota like Gujarat. In Himachal Pradesh, there is a fierce battle between Congress and BJP. Will the BJP’s efforts to come to power for the second consecutive term and break the 40-year-old tradition succeed? It will be finalized  in a few hours.

Counting of votes for a new assembly in Gujarat got underway Thursday, with early trends pointing to a sweeping victory for the ruling Bharatiya Janata Party.

BJP has been in power in Gujarat since 1995. However, Congress could not own the previous record of 149 seats in 1985 assembly elections. This time the results are likely to be close to that record.

Gujarat CM Bhupendra Patel is leading by 13,500 votes from Ghatlodia in Ahmedabad.

BJP’s Rivaba Jadeja,  the wife of cricketer Ravindra Jadeja, replaced sitting MLA Dharmendrasinh Jadeja. Rivaba was fielded against Congress veteran Bipendrasinh Jadeja.

 The  Counting of votes for Savarkundla, Lathi, Rajula, Mahuva, Talaja constituencies begin at 8 AM. 

Mahuva : INC’ Dr Kanubhai V Kalsaria gets the maximum votes as per the early trends

Talaja:  INC’Kanubhai Mathurambhai Baraiya is leading.

Lath:  BJP contestant Janakbhai Talaviya is leading.

Rajula:  BJP contestant Hirabhai Solanki is leading.

Savarkundla : Congress contestant Pratap Dudhat is leading.
