Akhil Akkineni, the young son of King Nagarjuna is currently working for an upcoming action thriller drama Agent in which Malayalam star Mammootty is playing the role of a villain. Now according to the latest report, the team of Agent including Akhil landed in Manali today morning. Agent team received a grand welcome at the airport. Currently the shoot of Akhil starrer is going on at the brisk pace under the direction of Surender Reddy of Sye Raa Narasimha Reddy fame in Manali and the makers are planning to shoot action episodes in this shoot schedule.
Agent is a big budget stylish and action thriller which has newbie, Sakshi Vaidya as the leading lady opposite Akhil in the film billed to be a spy thriller saga. The movie will be released on 12th August 2022 in the theaters. Since the film is said to have a patriotic affiliation, the film makers felt that Independence Day is an ideal time for the release.
There were numerous rumors spreading that the film would be postponed but Agent makers rubbished all the rumors and revealed that the film’s next schedule is going on in Manali.
Akhil Akkineni starrer Agent is funded by Ramabrahmam Sunkara under AK Entertainments and Surender 2 Cinema and sensational composer Hip Hop Thamizha is rendering the tune. It is known that Akhil transformed his physique for the role of a spy in the thriller .
