Four people were arrested while two others are reportedly absconding after allegedly cheating unemployed youth by promising them jobs in the railways, police said here on Monday.
The accused issued fake appointment orders to the jobless youth after collecting money from them, the police said.
So far, nine youth have lost Rs. 45 lakh to the cheats, they said.
The youth were assured of postings in Secunderabad and Kazipet railway stations and given the fake job orders, they added.
