The State government has sanctioned funds to the tune of Rs. 16.32 crore for comprehensive infrastructural development of government schools in the Parassala and Nedumangad Assembly constituencies.
The projects were being undertaken as part of the government’s General Education Protection Mission.
The government has sanctioned an amount of Rs. 10.5 crore for developmental activities in six government schools at Parassala. Among them, Neyyar dam GHSS, which has been allocated Rs. 4.77 crore, will be upgraded as a model school.
The existing open auditorium at the school will be renovated to establish a multipurpose building.
Every classrooms will turn digital.
In the Nedumanad constituency, works worth Rs. 2.90 crore will be undertaken at the Government UPS, Pothencode.
