Minister for School Education K. A. Sengottaiyan has told a group of candidates, who had cleared the examination for special teachers, that a decision on filling the vacancies can be taken only after discussing with the Chief Minister.
The candidates met him at his residence in Gobichettipalayam and submitted petition demanding filling of vacancies in government schools.
Likewise, another group of candidates, who cleared their Teacher Eligibility Test, and opposed the competitive examination for getting job, also met the Minister.
They were also told that the issue has to be discussed with the Chief Minister.
