Man jailed for duping jobless youth

The Eighth Metropolitan Magistrate Court awarded a year in jail to a person for cheating youth by failing to keep the promise of getting them jobs abroad for a fee.

According to the One Town Police, Shaik Shadab, of Vijayawada, collected Rs. 85,000 from K. Suresh Kumar of East Godavari district and promised him a job in Malaysia, but failed to keep it. He took Rs. 60,000 from B. Bala Kumar of Chennai and assured him to a job in Singapore, but couldn’t get him one.
