Justice Hrishikesh Roy was on Wednesday sworn in as Chief Justice of the Kerala High Court.
Governor P. Sathasivam administered the oath of office in the presence of Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan at a solemn function at Raj Bhavan here.

The function was attended by Leader of the Opposition Ramesh Chennithala, Ministers, Kerala Congress (M) leader K.M. Mani. Several judges of Kerala, Tripura, Guwahati and Manipur High Courts were present to witness the swearing in ceremony.
He has been acting Chief Justice of Kerala High Court since May this year.
