In the news report “Activists held meets abroad: police” (September 1, 2018), it was mistakenly stated that Param Bir Singh, ADG of the Maharashtra police, made some charges while reading from a letter said to have been written by Mr. Anand Teltumbde to Mr. Wilson this January.
The ADG was referring to a letter said to be written by Mr. Milind Teltumbde, brother of Mr. Anand Teltumbde.
We apologise to Mr. Anand Teltumbde for this reporting error, which we regret.
