Kris Jenner has made hundreds of millions of pounds from exposing her family’s every secret and opening up her life for public consumption.
But the momager has actually been sitting on her biggest secret to date: the house she lets the Keeping Up With The Kardashian cameras film inside isn’t the same house she lives in.
Mum of six Kris has a secret bolthole in the exclusive Hidden Hills suburb of Los Angeles, where she lives full-time.
And the interior couldn’t be more different from the home she allows cameras into, with expensive works of art hanging on every wall and a sophisticated pallet of muted greys, charcoals and creams in each room.
The never-before-seen home features a grey and gold marble bar, with exquisite glasswear that we’re guessing doesn’t get bunged in the dishwasher.
There’s also a home cinema room with plush vintage armchairs to sink into while watching the latest blockbusters – no need to mingle with the hoi polloi down at the nearest Odeon.
And Kris’ secret bolthole also has an enormous master closet where each of her dozens of designer handbags, shoes and accessories all have their own storage space, artfully arranged by colour and size, of course.
Of her designer home, Kris told Architectural Digest that she’s so comfortable that she never wants to leave.
"I don’t enjoy going out as much as I used to. My job is so hectic and chaotic. I’m always running a million miles an hour. I wanted my home to feel like a sanctuary, perfectly calm and peaceful," she revealed.
Kris burst into tears the first time she saw it, as the designers had done such a good job.
"I had complete faith in the designers. When it was time for the big reveal, I walked into the house and cried. Every single space gives me pleasure," she went on.
"Every time you turn a corner, you find something beautiful, something delicious. I truly can’t wait to come home every day."
Kris said she now looks back on her past tastes and shakes her head.
"I’ve been collecting furniture and making houses for a lifetime. I’ve had so many different types of homes in so many different styles – in the 80s, my bedroom looked like a lavender-chintz supplier threw up all over it. Robert Kardashian was such a good sport," she laughed.
