Sushant Singh Rajput accused of making Sanjana Sanghi ‘uncomfortable’; actor LASHES OUT at allegations – read his statement

Earlier today, it was reported that Sushant Singh Rajput’s “overly friendly” behaviour left his “Kizzie And Nanny” co-star Sanjana Sanghi “uncomfortable” during the shoot in Jodhpur. The movie, which marks the debut of casting director Mukesh Chabbra’s film direction career, has been in the making for a while now. Apparently, there was a sexual harassment incident on the sets of the movie. An onlooker recalled the incident and said that Sushant made the actress uncomfortable and when she reported it to Mukesh, he apparently brushed the whole incident under the carpet.

An onlooker from the film set said, “Sushant made his female co-star very uncomfortable on the sets. He would often invade her personal space and would pass flirtatious comments. His overtly friendly nature had the actress report the matter to Mukesh Sir, who brushed it away as usual behaviour seen in the industry.”

The source added,” The next day the actress’ parents too came to the sets to speak to the director about the sexual harassment their daughter was facing on the film sets. Their complaints and concerns too were laughed off by the film maker, who instead asked them to keep a strong gut if their daughter was expecting to have a long run in showbiz.”

This caused an uproar on Twitter with many fans defending the MS Dhoni actor. Soon after his name began trending, the actor took to the social media platform to clear his stand on the issue. He shared screenshots of his conversations and issued his statement. Check it out below:

Meanwhile, Mukesh was recently roped into another sexually harassing incident. An aspiring actress accused him of feeling her up during an audition.

The #MeToo movement is definitely opening up a can of ugly worms all over the industry.
