The internet lost its calm when a theory suggested that Hollywood superstar Hugh Jackman is going to be a part of Avengers: Endgame. Recently, when netizens searched for ‘famous Hugh Jackman movies’ the Marvel movie was listed as a part of it. Fans totally believed the theory when they saw Avengers: Endgame listed under Hugh Jackman’s filmography on his Wikipedia page. According to the page, he would have a cameo appearance in the movie as Adam Warlock. However, before you get all excited expecting to see Jackman in the fourth installment of Avengers, let us clear the air for you. MCU Comic’s Jeremy Conrad has slammed the theory as “fake news.”
Conrad, in his blog, clarified that Jackman is not going to be a part of the movie. He further stated that it was a prankster on Google who is faking the theory. In his blog Conrad said, “No, Hugh Jackman is not in Avengers: Endgame. And people really need to learn how Google works. C’mon. It’s 2019. People should know this by now.”
Conrad also speculated that the Wikipedia page could have been probably tampered by a notorious user. The changes have been rectified by the organisation. He further explained, “Someone intentionally trolled Google to make Avengers: Endgame show up on a specific Hugh Jackman search result and make people on the Internet who don’t know how Google works freak out over the upcoming Avengers movie.”
And for those who don’t know why the internet believed in this theory then let us simplify it for you. Disney has taken over 20th Century Fox, while Disney owns Marvel and Fox has the rights of the X-Men characters. Although Hugh Jackman retired as Wolverine in 2017, people had a ray of hope.
However, sadly it is not happening, at least not anytime soon.
