Sekhar Kammula ropes in Naga Chaitanya and Sai Pallavi for his next? | Bollywood Life

Fidaa director Sekhar Kammula is currently working on the script of his next which is touted to be another romantic tale. The film is yet to be officially announced to be the makers. And the latest we hear is that Sekhar Kammula has finalised the cast of the film. Emerging reports reveal that Sekhar has roped in Naga Chaitanya and Sai Pallavi for the lead role in the film. However, an official confirmation regarding this waited for. If this materialises, this will be Kammula’s second project with Sai Pallavi after Fidaa which was a huge hit after a long while in his career.

Naga Chaitanya is currently shooting for his upcoming film Venky Mama which also stars his uncle Venkatesh. Directed by KS Ravindra, Venky Mama also stars Raashi Khanna and Payal Rajput in the female lead roles. The film is the first time that Chay and Venkatesh are working together in full length roles. Earlier, Venkatesh appeared in a cameo in Chaitanya’s Premam as his uncle.

Speaking about Sai Pallavi, the actress was last seen in Tamil NGK which starred Suriya and Rakul Preet in other lead roles. Directed by Selvaraghavan, NGK had Sai Pallavi playing Suriya’s wife in this political drama. The film was a below average affair at the box office after failing to impress the audience.

Speaking about Sekhar Kammula, the acclaimed filmmaker last directed Fidaa which starred Varun Tej and Sai Pallavi in lead roles. The film turned out to be a hit and was a huge comeback for the filmmaker after a long while. The subtle filmmaker will look to continue his success streak with this Naga Chaitanya and Sai Pallavi-starrer.
