Roman Kemp admits he had ‘biggest ever crush’ on I’m A Celeb’s Frankie Bridge

Roman Kemp has spoken out on his thoughts on the latest I'm A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! series, which saw Danny Miller win.

The 28 year old, who finished in third place during his season of the popular competition show back in 2019, opened up during an exclusive chat with OK! Online about Vodafone's ReBoxing Day campaign.

Capital host Roman said this year's series was a "difficult watch" as several unforeseen problems occurred that set the show back by a few days.

Storm Arwen was the main cause of disruption as it lead several nights being cancelled due to "technical difficulties".

Roman told OK!: "It was difficult, it was a different watch because it was so broken up I think it lost a lot of momentum."

Despite this, the star said he developed a major crush on former The Saturdays star Frankie Bridge, 32, as he shared: "I mean I had the biggest crush ever on Frankie Bridge, so that was great…"

While he enjoyed the show overall, Roman said he really hopes "it goes back to Australia next year because I think people want to watch the fun, they don't want to watch people miserable."

Comparing the Australian jungle to Gwrych Castle in Wales, he continued: "In the jungle, when the lights go off all of the snakes and spiders come out.

"You think you're safe and go to sleep, but the second you go to sleep you've got all the snakes and spiders."

When it comes to people he's kept in contact with during his season of the show, he shared that Caitlyn Jenner, 72, often send him messages.

He said: "I get voice notes from Caitlyn Jenner, quite a lot, just for a chat. She's a very lovely lady."

It comes after Roman recently told OK! he was left with no choice but to host Christmas this year for the first time ever.

He explained that his parents Martin, 60, and Shirlie Holliman, 59, are currently busy renovating their ninth house together, which means they weren't able to host the big day as they normally would.

With this in mind, the TV personality stepped up to take the lead. He told OK!: "Christmas plans are… My parents are spending Christmas with me because obviously they're renovating the house."

Laughing, he added: "They don't have anywhere to go! I'm hosting it this year, which is a first and I hope the last."
