Prince William reveals the song daughter Charlotte can’t start her day without

Princess Charlotte may seem like an unlikely Shakira fan, however Prince William has revealed that his daughter's current favourite song is Waka Waka.

Most recently seen photographed by the Duchess of Cambridge to celebrate her seventh birthday, the young royal is set to make more of her royal status and will be seen more frequently at engagements.

However, just like any normal family dynamic, The Duke of Cambridge recently revealed that Charlotte and her brother George often argue about which songs are played ahead of their daily plans.

According to The Mirror, he revealed that Charlotte likes to play Colombian pop star Shakira's hit Waka Waka to start her day – something George clearly isn't a fan of.

Prince William said: "What I've been amazed by is how much my children already have inherited my family's love of music.

"Most mornings there's a massive fight between Charlotte and Prince George as to what song is played.

"And I have to, now, basically prioritise that one day someone does this one, and another day it's someone else's turn.


According to The Mirror, he revealed that Charlotte likes to play Colombian pop star Shakira's hit Waka Waka to start her day – something George clearly isn't a fan of.

Princess Charlotte has been seen out on two occasions recently.

She attended an Easter Sunday Service with the Duke and Duchess and brother Prince George at St George's Chapel in Windsor.

And on March 29 she made her first appearance at a major church event for the Duke of Edinburgh's memorial service at Westminster Abbey.
