However, Lauren has now admitted that even she doesn't know the gender of her baby, so could not have made the apparent slip up.

One of her fans asked: "Are you have a girl? Noticed a hint on your stories."

The expectant first time mum replied: "No, I don't know until next month, so there is no hint."

A representative for the star added: "It was a frame which has boy and girl on but you couldn't see the boy bit.

"Lauren will find out the sex of their baby at her 20 week scan in two weeks," the spokesperson continued to tell The Sun.

She sparked further speculation she knew whether she was expecting a girl or boy by sharing the Valentine's card given to her from Charles from their unborn child.

Sharing her sonogram, she wrote: "This was bubbas 12 weeks scan at hospital.. can't wait to meet you my little world I'm holding inside me what do you think I am having? [sic]" followed by a baby emoji and a purple heart emoji.

Lauren's 775,000 followers flocked to the comment section to voice their opinions. And while some thought it was a boy, the vast majority agreed her baby is a girl.

Clearly uncertain about the predictions, Lauren replied: "Omg I'm so confused now with all these lol tell me why think a boy and why think a girl? [sic]" with a pink heart emoji.

One fan shared: "nub theory! Urs is very obviously a girl! Congratulations!! I’m no expert but I’ve seen enough of them when I was pregnant as I was dying to find out! Urs is pink for sure [sic]."

Nub theory is a gender determination method. It is a belief formed around something called the genital tubercle, which forms early in pregnancy. Eventually the tubercle, or "nub", turns into a penis or clitoris, determining the gender.
