Phillip Schofield has broken his silence over reports he moved out of his family home after coming out as gay.
The 58 year old has denied the claims with a cryptic comment on Instagram after he shared a photo of him with his wife Stephanie Lowe, their two daughter Ruby and Molly and Ruby’s boyfriend.
Phillip’s snap, which appeared to show the family in the back garden of their lavish home, revealed the family spent the evening together in lockdown.
In the caption he revealed they were taking part in a murder mystery night as he wrote: “Murder mystery night… we’re all in character and taking it very seriously”.

The photo received more than 175,000 likes and hundreds of comments from fans, some of which Phillip replied to.
One of the This Morning star’s 3.1million followers slammed him amid reports he had moved out of the family home, and therefore appeared to have broken lockdown rules by returning.
They said: “So you moved out but you’re allowed to visit your family? But I can’t go any visit my children and grandchildren. Just the rich or famous that are allowed, good to know,” followed by an angry face emoji.
Phillip then appeared to deny reports that he had moved into a pad in London as he replied with: “where did you get that I’d moved out….. oh yeah, the papers,” followed by a laughing emoji and thumbs up emoji.
This Morning star Phillip’s denial comes weeks after it was reported he had moved to a pad in central London.
An insider told The Mail on Sunday at the time: “There has been talk for weeks that Phillip isn't living with Steph any more, that he had moved out for good and had a new home. He has a place in central London.
“It's not as big but it's the beginning of a new life for him. It very much also seems as though their marriage could well be over.”
Days later, Phillip was pictured arriving at his reported London apartment block where it was claimed he was staying.

It comes months after Phillip bravely opened up on his sexuality on an Instagram post, where he revealed he was gay.
Phillip sensationally came out as gay on 7 February in an Instagram post in which he wrote: “This is something that has caused many heart-breaking conversations at home. I have been married to Steph for nearly 27 years, and we have two beautiful grown-up daughters, Molly and Ruby.
“My family have held me so close; they have tried to cheer me up, to smother me with kindness and love, despite their own confusion. Yet still I can’t sleep and there have been some very dark moments.”
