He continued: “I remember I bought Junior a Christmas present and he said: ‘Dad, thank you so much, you're such a good dad," and I found out later from Princess that he didn’t like it at all, but he was so appreciative I’d bought it for him.
“If we go shopping he’ll say: “Dad I don’t want that it’s too expensive,” even though he has his own money now.”
The father-and-son duo recently enjoyed a family trip to Portugal with the rest of the Andre clan, including Pete’s daughter Princess, 13, his doctor wife Emily Andrea, and their two children Amelia, seven, and Theo, four.
The family’s trip saw them visit the beach and enjoy a boat ride where they spotted some dolphins swimming in the sea.
They stayed at the luxurious Villa Aurora in Vale De Lobo during their Portugal getaway, which featured a huge swimming pool surrounded by trees.
Speaking on his YouTube Channel The Andres, the Mysterious Girl singer told his fans: "I feel very lucky to come out to Portugal because obviously it was on the green list, so people were taking the opportunity to go.
"And it's now been put on the amber list so it's really scuppered people's plans to come out."
