Peter Andre has opened up about letting his daughter Princess Andre watch Love Island in his weekly new! column.
Despite saying in the past that he wouldn't want them going into the villa, it seems Pete may have had a change of heart. Sign up – for free! – to read what Pete thinks of his kids possibly going on the divisive dating show and find out what he's getting Emily for their six year anniversary.

Love Island lenience
I did say I wasn’t going to let Princess watch Love Island, but now she’s 14 I decided to give in and she watched it with me. In a way I’m glad I did let her because she wasn’t that fussed by it. I said, “There you go, you don’t need to watch it again!”
I know I’ve said I don’t want them going on the show, but in reality once they get to 18 they’ll be making their own decisions.
I would actually love for the kids to do I’m A Celebrity one day as I think it would be a great experience – and if it wasn’t for the show Junior and Princess wouldn’t even be here!
Grease is a go!
I’m fully into rehearsals for Grease The Musical. It’s pretty intense but it’s going to be such a fun show. After being with the family 24/7 over the last 18 months, it does feel strange to be away and I’m missing them all, but I’ll be going home at every opportunity and they’ll be coming to watch, too.
I was going through my lines at home and Millie was in awe. She came to watch me last time I was in the show and she said, “It’s the best thing I’ve ever seen you in. Please can I come again?” It will be great when the rules for self-isolation change as right now it’s a nightmare.
As it stands, the first show will be on 30 July in Leicester, so if you haven’t already, get your tickets – it’s going to be an amazing show!

Six special years
At the time of writing my column, me and Emily are about to celebrate our sixth wedding anniversary.
The traditional gift for six years is sugar, which is so bizarre. I couldn’t just buy her a bag of sugar, so right now I’m undecided what to do. She’s also insisted she doesn’t want any presents – but we all know that isn’t going to happen!
We’ve known each other for 11 years now and we’re such a good team and we really love and respect each other, but I still believe the key for us is that we were friends first. Through it all, you’re mates no matter what.
We have lift off
Most of England’s remaining coronavirus restrictions will be lifted by 19 July. I do think this is the right way to go as there are always going to be variants – we just need to learn to live with the virus. I think we have to take the risk and see what happens. I know that’s easier said than done, but we can’t live like this forever and restrict how we travel.
On the other side of the coin, I do see how dangerous it can be. But I think there will always come a point where we have to open up so, maybe now is the time.
What I don’t agree with is that certain rules are still in place – like self-isolation – while others are not and tens of thousands are allowed to gather without restrictions. If we’re going to open we should open up everything, in my opinion.
Charlotte Crosby has revealed she quarantined in Australia for two weeks only for all her work to be cancelled due to the Sydney lockdown. I can’t imagine how frustrating that was!
Myself and my brothers are still struggling with not being able to see Mum and Dad in Australia. I actually had an offer to do a big TV show over there, but as I had already signed up to Grease, we sadly couldn’t make it work.
I can’t reveal what show it was as it may happen next year!
