Pete Davidson says ‘I really don’t want to be on this earth’ in cryptic post, deletes Instagram

Pete Davidson posted an extremely dark message on Instagram following another post about being honest about mental health — and then deleted his account.

“I really don’t want to be on this earth anymore,” he wrote. “I’m doing my best to stay here for you but I actually don’t know how much longer i can last. all I’ve ever tried to do was help people. just remember I told you so.”

The 25-year-old, who has been open about his struggles with mental health, commended Kanye West in a previous post for his “bravery” in discussing mental health issues following a spat between his ex Ariana Grande and the rapper.

Grande and Davidson called off their engagement in October.

The singer, 26, took to Twitter apologizing that her initial joke to promote her new song, “Imagine,” amid West Twitter feud with Drake took such a turn.

“man i’m so sorry i told a dumb joke,” she wrote. “i really didn’t mean any harm. all i want everyone to be healthy and happy. so desperately. please. my god.”

TMZ reported that the NYPD has been flooded with calls from fans worrying about the young comedian.

Meanwhile, actor Jon Cryer tweeted that he’s heard that Davidson is “at SNL and accounted for.”

Rapper Machine Gun Kelly took also took to Twitter letting fans know that he was on his way to see the young comedian.

“im in the plane now on the way to see Pete,” he tweeted. “gonna make sure he’s good, i promise. can’t have my boy in the darkness like that.”

Earlier this month, Davidson said on Instagram that he’d never take his own life following the bullying he’s endured since being linked to Grande.

“I’ve spoken about [borderline personality disorder] and being suicidal publicly only in the hopes that it will help bring awareness and help kids like myself who don’t want to be on this earth,” he wrote in a lengthy post. “I just want you guys to know. No matter how hard the internet or anyone tries to make me kill myself. I won’t. I’m upset I even have to say this.”

Davidson’s rep didn’t immediately respond to a request for comment.
