Nicki Minaj offers to take Meghan’s seat next to Harry at Coronation

Prince William should ‘build bridges’ with Harry says Jobson

Rapper Nicki Minaj, 40, has made herself an available replacement now it has been confirmed that Meghan Markle will not be present at the historic royal event. It comes after Prince Harry announced he would be attending the King’s coronation alone.

Minaj put on a questionable British accent while she addressed her Twitter followers, following the release of her song Princess Diana, named after Harry’s late mum, featuring Ice Spice.

The rapper initially tweeted: “I’ll be attending the coronation. Thank you. Stream #PrincessDiana until I land. Scones on dekk. Whole lotta gang s**t!”

She then added: “Fank you. Proper excited, really. Yes, it appears there was one seat open right next to Harry. I rang his telly & said: ‘You be Harry Potter, & I’ll be Hermoine’ We both loffed [laughed]. Met him on the jet and now here we are.”

But taking it one step further, Minaj then explained all with a voice note and said: “Rather excited really. Well, I got the news earlier this morning.

“Anyway, I’m on the G – Harry, is this a G5 or a G6? Have they prepared my landing strip? We need to notify the Barbz of where we’re landing so that they could be outside waiting for me.”

She continued: “And when we get back, make sure to call up… Yes. Make sure she handles the press on all this. Queen s***. Brrr.”

Fans of the singing star were quick to compliment Minaj on her British accent. One user replied: “this made me wanna drink some tea.”

Another said: “One of the best British accent I’ve heard from an American loool.”

While a third replied: “This accent is actually biblically accurate.”

However, this isn’t the first time Nicki has taken to social media to show off her British accent. The rapper also got into a bizarre disagreement with former Prime Minister Boris Johnson about vaccines.

After Johnson said he’d prefer to listen to the advice of Bexley GP Nikki Kanani – Minaj hit back.

Taking to twitter in her British accent, she said: “Yes, hello Prime Minister Boris! It’s Nicki Minaj! I was just calling you to tell you I thought you were so amazing on the news this morning and I’m actually British!

“I was born there, I went to university there, I went to Oxford. I went to school with Margaret Thatcher and she told me so many nice things about you! I’d love to send you a portfolio of my work, since you don’t know much about me.

“I’m a big, big star in the United States!”
