Nandi Bushell, the ten-year old online music sensation, joined the Foo Fighters to perform “Everlong” at the Forum in Los Angeles on Thursday, August 26.
“This person inspired me last year so much,” frontman Dave Grohl told the crowd before bringing Bushell onstage. He also called her “the most badass drummer in the world.”
Bushell’s father filmed her performance and posted it on YouTube for Bushell’s 299,000 subscribers. “It Happened!!!” she wrote. “It was EPIC!!!”
Bushell had gained world-wide popularity after she covered songs by the Red Hot Chili Peppers, Muse and My Chemical Romance, which gained her thumbs-ups from Rage Against the Machine‘s Tom Morello and Grohl.
