Lucy Mecklenburgh reveals baby daughter’s beautiful name 3 weeks after her arrival

Lucy Mecklenburgh has announced the name of her and Ryan Thomas's daughter, after spending three weeks to decide on the perfect moniker.

Posting on Instagram on Father's Day, Lucy, 30, revealed that the newborn has been named Lilah Rae Thomas.

The former The Only Way Is Essex star shared the news alongside a sweet picture of the baby, who is her and Ryan's second child together.

In the caption, she wrote: "Yay!! I finally have a name!!! Lilah Rae Thomas."

Lucy added heart and angel emojis to the post, which was soon commented on by plenty of the couple's famous pals.

Georgia Kousoulou and and Billie Faiers, who recently announced she's expecting her third child, both commented with "beautiful," as Billie's sister Sam wrote: "Gorgeous girl."

"Perfect girl," wrote Lucy's pal Lydia Bright.

The big reveal came a day after Lucy excitedly told fans that she and Ryan had picked a name for the daughter.

Lucy previously told fans that she was finding it "really difficult" to choose a name for the newborn, who kept her excited mum and dad waiting until she was born seven days after her due date.

The star excitedly announced Lilah's arrival on 31 May by posting a snap of the newborn bundled up in blankets. Keeping the caption simple, she added: "She's here!!"

Lucy and Ryan are also parents to son Roman, who turned two this March, and the toddler has been loving life as an older brother.

Ryan is also father to 13 year old daughter, Scarlett, who he shares with his ex, Tina O’Brien.
