Love Island fans predict Paige and Adam will be next to split as they ‘drift apart’

It's all over for Love Island 2022's Danica and Jamie.

And now fans are speculating that Paige Thorne and Adam Collard will be next in-line to split, following cryptic Instagram photos.

Paige, 24, and Adam, 26, got together on the ITV2 dating series this summer and made their romance official shortly after leaving as they exchanged the big L-word.

The couple, who placed fifth on the show, appeared besotted with one another following their exit from the villa and continued to see each other regularly, travelling back and forth between their hometowns in Wales and Newcastle.

In recent weeks though, the pair have spent time apart and have posted photos of themselves enjoying quality time with friends instead, sparking split rumours.

Adam shared a saucy shirtless snap on Tuesday as he captioned: “Pump up the tempo”.

Fans praised the TV bombshell afterwards in the comment section, while Paige was noticeably absent, leading fans to speculate their relationship status.

One person asked: "No comment by Paige? What's going on? Please tell me you are still together?"

A second fan wrote: "Where is Paige? You're not with each other very much”, as another asked: "Where's Paige?"

The Welsh beauty has in fact been occupied, as she was seen in photos posted this week at the Notting Hill Carnival, without Adam.

Paige was joined by fellow ex Love Islander Antigoni Buxton as she partied it up at the annual end-of-summer event, and looked stunning as she showed off her figure in a light pink halterneck crop top and matching mini skirt.

Adam was seen back with Paige in video shared on Instagram Stories on Wednesday amid the split talk as he got a new tattoo of her name apparently etched on his neck.

Paige recently discussed how the reunion between Adam and her mum went down in Wales, after an initially disagreeable introduction back in the villa.

During the Meet the Parents episode, Paige was shocked to hear her mum tell her she wasn’t “buying it” when it came to Adam and his interest in her, though the bombshell has since got in her good books.

Paige said on Toby Aromolaran’s podcast Fancy A Chat: “At the time it wasn't nice to hear and obviously it was awkward breaking it to Adam, ‘my mum isn't a huge fan right now’, but he took it really well and understood.

“We came out and obviously the first thing he said was, ‘I need to meet your mum’.

Paige went on: “So he came down to Swansea to meet my family in the bar – my mum went up to him straight away and she said, ‘I'm so sorry for being so savage’. Not my mum apologising – she doesn't do that often.

“Now she approves. I honestly didn't have one doubt she wouldn't. She just needs to meet him out of this environment and have a proper conversation.”
