Lindsay Lohan crashes Taylor Swift’s Instagram Live, says ‘My mom was in cats’

On Thursday, Lindsay Lohan appeared to leave a series of peculiar comments on Taylor Swift‘s Instagram Live while the 29-year-old tried to promote her new album, “Lover,” on the social media platform.

A fan captured screen shots of Lindsay’s alleged comments, which first started as complimentary, but then quickly took a turn.

“We think you’re great!” Lindsay said, before the “Mean Girls” star added, “You should respond!…To your fans!”

Lindsay, 32, then chimed in with a seemingly out-of-the-blue comment about her mother, Dina Lohan, saying, “My mom was in cats.”

Swifties speculated whether the actress meant her mother was in the musical “Cats” — though Swift, a fan of the pet, didn’t mention the show once during the event. There are no reports of Dina ever having been part of the Broadway version of the play. Both Lindsay and Dina’s reps could not be reached for comment.

Lindsay’s social media comments about her mom have caused a stir online before.

After Dina was kicked off “Celebrity Big Brother,” Lohan wrote in a now-deleted caption under an Instagram post, “@cbs_bigbrother you suck and get no Valentine’s from @lohanbeachclub @mtv. My mother is an AMAZING woman and she did so well. The secrets she told me a few hours ago are going to #EXPOSE #YOUALL #dinalohan.”

In response, Dina’s rep told us, “Dina had a great time on the show, as she stated on the program itself.”

In September 2018, Lindsay had another social media scandal when she shared a bizarre encounter with a Syrian family, in which she attempted to rescue their children after she assumed they were victims of human trafficking.
