Lana Del Rey slams Kanye for continued Donald Trump support

Things have gotten so bad for Kanye West that even the singer who performed at his wedding is going after him.

The rapper raised eyebrows again this weekend by defending Donald Trump during a post-“Saturday Night Live” rant and called for the abolishment of the 13th Amendment, which put an end to slavery.

Lana Del Rey hopped into the rapper’s Instagram comments to call him out.

“Trump becoming our president was a loss for the country but your support of him is a loss for the culture,” she wrote in response to a photo of West in his “redesigned” MAGA hat. “I can only assume you relate to his personality on some level. Delusions of Grandeur, extreme issues with narcissism — none of which would be a talking point if we weren’t speaking about the man leading our country.”

She went on to explain that it’s not just Trump’s politics that irk her so, but his lack of respect for women, specifically referring to the “Access Hollywood” tape that leaked shortly before the 2016 election.

“If you think it’s alright to support someone who believes it’s OK to grab a woman by the p—y just because he’s famous — then you need an intervention as much as he does — something so many narcissists will never get because there just isn’t enough help for the issue,” she wrote.

“The Lust for Life” singer, who sang at West and Kim Kardashian’s 2014 wedding, finished her message to West by stressing that she’s worried about the controversial rapper.

“Message sent with the concern that it will never be addressed,” she wrote.

Del Rey is far from the only celeb to criticize West for his comments over the weekend. “Captain America” star Chris Evans blasted the rapper for calling for the elimination of the 13th Amendment.

“There’s nothing more maddening than debating someone who doesn’t know history, doesn’t read books, and frames their myopia as virtue,” he wrote on Twitter on Sunday. “The level of unapologetic conjecture I’ve encountered lately isn’t just frustrating, it’s retrogressive, unprecedented and absolutely terrifying.”
