Reacting to online worries about her dramatic weight loss, the ‘Real Housewives Of Beverly Hills’ star assures her fans that she is ‘actually a healthy weight.’
AceShowbiz –Kyle Richards has something to say about worries over her dramatic weight loss. After a rib-baring photo of hers surfaced and sparked concerns among her fans, the series regular on “The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” offered her two cents on the issues.
On Thursday, May 4, the 54-year-old TV personality turned to the comments section of Page Six’s Instagram post to assure devotees they had nothing to worry about. “The picture they’re referring to I was sucking in because of the type of dress I had on,” she began to explain.
“The New Celebrity Apprentice” alum went on to note, “Which I see now was not a good look.” She then offered more details on her health by stressing, “I am actually a healthy weight. I eat very well & workout every day. Anyone who knows me can attest to that.”

Page Six’s Instagram post itself displayed a fan’s comment that read, “Anyone else concerned for Kyle?” Along with the photo, the outlet wrote in its caption, “Fans are concerned for #RHOBH star #KyleRichards after a new photo showed off her dramatic weight loss.”
It came shortly after Dorit Kemsley, Kyle’s co-star on “The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills”, shared on Instagram a photo of Kyle wearing a midsection-exposing dress during a vacation in Spain. In the picture which has since been deleted, her ribcage could be seen sticking out.
Many of Kyle’s fans quickly noticed her exposed midsection, and jumped in to express their concerns. One in particular wrote, “Kyle needs an intervention.” Another chimed in, “Anyone else concerned for Kyle?” A third candidly spoke, “Kyles [sic] ribs. Yikes.” A fourth reminded, “No Kyle looks unhealthy,” whereas a fifth penned, “I hope Kyle isn’t unwell.”
Ribcage photo aside, Kyle has been plagued with speculations of her using Ozempic to lose weight. She, however, was quick to clarify during a red carpet appearance at the American Heart Association’s Go Red for Women Red Dress Collection concert in February.
“I cannot stand people saying that because people that know me know that I’m up every day at like 5:30 a.m. 6 a.m. at the latest… I’m in the gym for two hours,” she told ExtraTV. “I really put a lot of effort into my diet and exercise and taking care of myself, so when people like to think I took the easy way out, it’s frustrating.”
“Sometimes I turn my cheek the other way and ignore it, but I work really hard and it really bothers me, and I would like to be able to be an inspiration to people,” she added. “So don’t think I took the easy way out. Like, follow what I’m doing and you’ll see changes.”
