Loose Women star Judi Love had some incredibly exciting news to share last week, as the star was announced as the 14th contestant on this year's Strictly Come Dancing. The presenter will join stars including Robert Webb, Adam Peaty, Katie McGlynn and AJ Odudu on this year's show.
The star has now shared her joy at signing up for the programme in her brand new OK! column, revealing why she's delighted to be doing something "so out of my comfort zone". Sign up below – for free! – to see what she has to say.

I was excited that it was announced on Loose Women last Friday that yes, I’m officially one of the contestants on Strictly Come Dancing! I’m overwhelmed with joy, excitement and of course, lots of nerves. I’m going to be doing something that is so out of my comfort zone, but at the same time it will be an exciting experience I’ve never had before.
I’ve got my dancing shoes and I’m ready to learn, embrace and go through this new journey with the other contestants, the amazing pro dancers and the Strictly family.
Like many teenagers across the country, my daughter got her GCSE results last week. I’m so proud of how hard she worked and what she achieved.
To celebrate, I bought her a new pair of trainers and we went out for a lovely family dinner. Whatever results our teens got this year, they should be proud as it’s been a hard environment to learn in. We really need to reassure these young kids that not doing as well as you’d hoped doesn’t mean you’ve failed. It’s important we encourage them to pursue other avenues and not see exams as the be-all and end-all.
Filming was a joy
Over the weekend, I filmed for the second series of Sorry, I Didn’t Know – an ITV panel show where contestants answer questions about black history. It was a joy to film alongside host Jimmy Akingbola and fellow team captain Chizzy Akudolu. It’s been a long journey and it’s amazing that it’s finally been made. It should be out by the end of the year, so keep your eyes peeled.

More than friends
Rumours have been swirling that Jennifer Aniston and David Schwimmer – aka Ross and Rachel in Friends – are dating in real life. David has now denied the rumours, but I think it’s really weird that fans want this to happen! They’re real people who were playing characters. If they did want to pursue it, then so be it, but all the fan pressure shouldn’t sway them.
The weather has been so bad recently. It’s got to the stage where I’ve forgotten it’s even summer and I’m trying to be happy with any little ray of sunshine. I’m finding myself stopping on the street when the sun shines and letting it touch my skin.
If there’s one thing we do well in the UK, it’s making the most of the sun when it finally comes – in the park, shirt off, living our best lives. I hope we get a few more of those days before the month is out. I might be black, but I want to get a bit of a tan – my melanin needs topping up!
Last week of love
It’s the last week of Love Island and ITV has done a great job of creating suspense during this series. Still, I’m concerned by reports from families of contestants who have said they are being trolled and have endured racist abuse. I really hope that the contestants are well and are looked after when they come out. When it comes to winners, I can’t see anyone other than Liberty and Jake winning.
They’ve made it the longest, but like any relationship, only time will tell if cracks will appear. I think Jake forgot he was being filmed in Casa Amor and is probably regretting egging on the other blokes to cheat now! If I could pick my individual winners, it would be Liberty and Teddy. They’ve both stayed true to themselves throughout and should be really proud.
