TV and radio personality Jonathan Coleman has died aged 65 following a four-year battle with prostate cancer. The British star’s family confirmed that the Studio 10 presenter passed away in hospital on Friday night.

The media star died peacefully in hospital surrounded by his family, including his wife of 31 years Margot and their two children Emily, 24 and Oscar, 27.

Margot said in a statement: “Jono and I have been soulmates for close to 40 years.

“We have been fortunate to live a rich and wonderful life and I have been lucky enough to watch up-close someone with enormous talent and the special gift to make people laugh.”

She went on to highlight the generous nature of her husband and added that her and their children will miss him immensely.
