Hulk Hogan has paid tribute to his ‘loyal friend’ as he mourns the death of his beloved dog Duke.
The WWE Hall of Famer revealed the heart-breaking news his pet pooch has died as he shared two photos of his pal and admitted he was ‘so sad’.
In a touching post, he wrote: ‘I am so sad, my loyal friend Duke just passed, I love you Duke, dad.’
Fans flooded the tweets with messages of support and memories of their own dogs, while fellow legend Mick Foley was among those to reply on Twitter.
He said: ‘I’m sorry for your loss, Hulk.’
While a fan wrote: ‘RIP brother, that’s pain. but think of all the good times y’all had and it’ll be hard not to smile’
And another replied: ‘My sincerest condolences, loved seeing Duke whenever you posted him. He may have left our world but he’ll never leave our hearts. God bless and rest in peace Duke’
He captioned the photo: ‘At almost 68yrs young and 297lbs arm workouts are starting to get crazy again brother HH (sic)’
