Gladiator's Helen Panther has opened up on Cobra's frail health ahead of his hospital stint.
Michael Wilson, who appeared in the hit 90s TV show, says he's been in care for three weeks with pneumonia and other serious health conditions.
Now, his co-star Panther has revealed that she could tell he was in agony last time she met up with him.
In a post to her 24,300 followers, Helen wrote: "Sending Big Love to COBRA @toffeemacruby who is always the life of the party!
"If you have an illness don’t put it off….go get it checked out!
"Even putting his arm around me a few months ago was agony for him as he was in such pain with his shoulder, biceps and hips!
"He then came along to a Gladiator appearance in Stoke, the day before he was due to go for new hips, and was his usual fun self for us and the crowds of fans!"
She went on: "A stunt man and now stunt coordinator he’s feeling the affects of battering his body but he’s a fighter in every sense of the word so he’ll be back!"
Alongside the supportive post, Helen shared a series of pictures cuddling up to her muscular co-star.
It is not just pneumonia Cobra is suffering from, as he is also being treated for pleurisy, a condition caused by inflamed tissue around the lungs, a ruptured bicep, and that he needs two new hips.
He said he's destroyed his body through his workouts.
The 55-year-old told The Sun that he was rushed into care three weeks ago.
He said: "I'm only half a Gladiator now. It’s been touch and go.
"I don’t feel like I’m kicking the bucket at the minute, but it will only take another cold or cough and I’m in trouble.
"I’m isolated in my own ward. It goes to show – you never know what’s round the corner."
He rose to fame on the TV show alongside the likes of Shadow, Wolf, Hunter and Jet.
