Reality star diva Gemma Collins has revealed that Sir David Attenborough has invited her to swim with dolphins.

"I had a good chat with his right-hand cameraman, Doug when I spoke to him on my podcast," says Gemma.

"But David is so amazing and he has invited me to swim with the dolphins in Florida.

"When I watch him, I think what an absolutely incredible human being he is. It's something I'm very interested in, so, watch this space."

You'd be mistaken for thinking that the closest former TOWIE star Gemma has got to animal rights is wearing a leopard print bikini.

But the 39-year-old and Sir David – who has just got his second Knighthood – both campaign for animals rights.

"Animals are a real, real, real passion of mine," says Gemma. "And it is something I want to go into. I definitely want to present wildlife documentaries. I've worked with the dolphin project and I was actually meant to be going to Bali this year, but I've not been able to do it because of COVID."

Gemma has spoken out against cruelty, and promises to stop 'animal cruelty in my lifetime.' She also said recently on Instagram: "I PREFER ANIMALS TO HUMANS."

The GC is also seen getting up close and personal to a polar bear in the new series of Diva Forever and Ever.

She visits the Yorkshire Wildlife Park in Doncaster and their endangered species programme for polar bears ends in drama when the reality star comes face-to-face with the grizzly creatures for feeding time at the Zoo.

"Well what happened there is that my mum had put the fear of God into me. I was convinced that the polar bears were going to pull me through the bars and eat me. All I can say honey is go and be like a step away from a polar bear and tell me how you feel."
