Faye Brookes was every inch the blushing bride as she married her partner Iwan Lewis in a picturesque Cotswolds church ceremony on Wednesday.

The former Coronation Street star, 35, said ‘I do’ at the Shipton Moyne Church after a whirlwind 10-month romance with her theatre boss partner.

The actress announced her engagement in January after just four months of dating Iwan, who she met while starring in the stage production of Legally Blonde.

Leaving the church hand in hand with her beau she couldn’t stop smiling as she wowed in her fairytale lace wedding gown.

The pair had a sweet smooch as they were surrounded by their family and friend before being driven off in a classic wedding car driven by Iwan for the reception.

Faye’s gown featured an intricate lace and pearl-adorned semi-sheer corset before cinching her in at the waist to puff out into a dramatic skirt.

She accessorised with pearl earrings and wore a long train in her brunette hair which was swept back.

Faye carried a beautiful bouquet of flowers with daisies and gypsophila while the outside of the church was decorated with stunning roses.

Meanwhile Iwan looked incredibly smart in a black suit and white shirt and had matching flowers in his top pocket.

Their friends and family were there to support them and looked thrilled as they snapped pictures of the couple leaving the church.

A source told The Sun: ‘Faye has been really busy over the last few months with Strictly Ballroom but has been secretly planning her big day behind the scenes.

‘She finished her stint on the show last month and it’s all stations go to pull off her dream wedding in just a couple of weeks’ time.

‘Faye and Iwan have picked a stunning venue in the Cotswolds, not far from where they now live.

‘It’s going to be a super low key affair and very intimate – with just their nearest and dearest in attendance.
